GENEX was granted Managed Care Organization (MCO) certification with the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation’s Health Partnership Program (HPP) in 1997. They are currently providing high quality MCO Services to over 5,000 Ohio employers. The following is a brief overview of the services provided by the GENEX Care for Ohio MCO program.

GENEX Care for Ohio is dedicated to providing a personalized approach to customer service. Our Managed Care Coordinator provides individualized service to support a successful workers’ comp program, including on-site training and education, educational materials including MCO I.D. cards, and employer claims and medical bill payment reports. Claim status reviews can be conducted on-site or via e-mail, telephone or Internet conference. GENEX assists employers with BWC programs, including Transitional WorkGRANT$ and Remain at Work (RAW).

In 1999, GENEX was the first organization of its kind to be awarded certification for Case Management Organization Standards by the American Accreditation Healthcare Commission/URAC (URAC) http:\\www.urac.org.
