WAYNE, Pa. – June 10, 2014 – Genex Services, LLC (“Genex”), the leading provider of case management services to the workers' compensation, disability, and auto markets, has announced the recipients of its third annual Case Manager Scholarship Award Program. The program will provide $100,000 in scholarship awards to schools nominated by Genex employees who graduated from those institutions. The scholarships are intended to recognize the Genex graduates from these schools, strengthen the awareness of the case management profession, and invest in a new generation of future graduates to fill a growing industry need.

The schools receiving scholarship awards for 2014 are: College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, MN; Covenant School of Nursing, Lubbock, TX; Goshen College, Goshen, IN; Indiana Vocational Tech (Ivy Tech), Madison, IN; and Mount St. Mary's College, Los Angeles, CA.

Each school will receive $20,000 to be used in support of the educational endeavors of their student population through scholarships.

“As the industry leader that employs more than 1,500 case managers, we are proud to create the potential for new students to pursue their education in the field of nursing and raise awareness of the career path of case management,” said Peter Madeja, CEO of Genex. “Our case managers are integral to effectively controlling health care costs and returning injured employees to work. We are pleased to recognize and support the organizations that educated these key employees and nurtured and developed the crucial skills they use on a daily basis that contribute to Genex's success.”

Genex's case managers work with treating physicians to coordinate appropriate, quality care; ensure patient satisfaction; improve medical outcomes; facilitate a patient's timely return to work; and decrease overall health care expenses.
