GENEX Return-to-Work Programs
Unfortunately, despite efforts toward prevention, accidents and illnesses can and do occur. It is how these incidences are handled, however, that can make all the difference. The ultimate goal for your business is that, when an injury of illness does happen, the employee is expeditiously returned to the workplace.

To facilitate this process, GENEX has created the Return-to-Work (RTW) Partnership Program that takes into account both the physical abilities of employees and the physical demands required to perform specific full-time jobs and transitional tasks.

The GENEX RTW Partnership Program consists of customized policy and procedure guides which offer step-by-step instructions for returning an employee to work, and which include instructions for reporting a claim. The program also provides forms and letters designed to help employees with the return-to-work transition in addition to digital videos; employer training materials; job analysis; and documentation for carriers/TPAs, employers, and providers.

How your business benefits:

  • Improved communications between employer, provider, and case manager.
  • Consistent treatment for all employees.
  • Objective determination of appropriate return-to-work dates.
  • Reduced risk of employee re-injury.
  • Reduced indemnity costs and less lost time.
  • Avoidance of recruiting, hiring, or training costs, or salaries for replacement workers.
  • Employees remain active and productive.
GENEX's return-to-work management offers oversight that encompasses pre- and post-return activities, ranging from ongoing employee contact and training to modified duty development.  The outcome: more successful and earlier returns to work which increases employee morale and productivity while reducing costs for your business.
