Field Case Management

Some injured workers require more direct case management to expedite their recovery and return to work. These cases we typically refer for field intervention. To streamline the process, our telephonic case managers routinely collaborate with our field nurses, sharing all pertinent medical and demographic information.
When referred to the field, each case is immediately assessed after a discussion with the worker, a review of medical records, and a work-site meeting for job analysis and work accommodation. A goal-directed plan is then developed to return the injured worker to optimal functioning capacity.
The entire process is guided by Genex Case Managers, all highly credentialed and experienced professionals. Many hold MSN, RN, or BSN degrees, while the majority of our nurses hold additional certifications in related fields and specialties.
