CCMC Elects Chikita Mann to Secretary Post

Genex supervisor will serve on the commissioners' Executive Committee

WAYNE, PA – July 25, 2018 – Chikita Mann, RN, MSN, CCM, case manager supervisor for Georgia at Genex Services, has been elected secretary of the Executive Committee for the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).

A commissioner since 2015, Mann will now serve as an executive member of a board that governs one of the most active and prestigious certification organizations supporting the case management industry. CCMC is the first and largest nationally accredited organization that certifies case managers, with more than 45,000 professionals holding the Certified Case Manager (CCM) credential.

"This board brings decades of experience and wide-ranging expertise to the Commission's leadership as we seek to develop a diverse workforce to meet the needs of a diverse population," said MaryBeth Kurland, CAE, Commission CEO. "The coming year will require focus and commitment to our research-based exam development to ensure that it reflects current practice, as well as continued expansion of the learning tools and resources that support our commitment to advancement and evolution of case management and disability management."

Mann has served the Commission for more than 10 years and her experience in case management plays a prominent role in her position as a Genex case manager supervisor, where she is responsible for workers' compensation, short- and long- term disability and nurse consulting services. She is a regular speaker at national workers' compensation conferences on topics focusing on patient concerns of diverse populations, case management protocols and certification matters.
