National

WATCHLIST: The Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs has proposed updates to the medical fee schedule for longshore and harbor workers that would take effect Sept. 30, if adopted.

CALIFORNIA

The Medi-Cal Rates file have been updated for Physician and Non-Physician Practitioner Service. The changes became effective Aug.15.

MAINE

The Workers’ Compensation Board’s Legal Division has announced updates to the state’s Board Rules. The rules became effective Sept. 1.

MICHIGAN

The Workers' Compensation Agency has announced changes to the state’s Hospital Cost-to-Charge Ratio. The rules took effect Aug. 1.

NEW YORK

The state has announced its Durable Medical Equipment Fee Schedule has been updated. The new schedule became effective Sept. 1.

SOUTH CAROLINA

WATCHLIST: The Workers’ Compensation Commission has announced that a Medical Fee Schedule update has been proposed.

TEXAS

The Division of Workers’ Compensation has adopted Title 28 Texas Administrative Code §133.30, Telemedicine and Telehealth Services. The rule became effective Sept. 1.
