Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs), Case Management & Peer Review

Independent medical examinations (IMEs) are becoming a more important component of workers’ compensation claims. This course describes and defines IMEs, uses and challenges to the adjuster. The instructor will outline reasons for ordering IMEs, who to select to perform exams, and the cost-benefit for objective clinical data in reference to workers’ comp cases.

Earning CE Credits
CE credits to be provided by the CEU Institute after attendees attend the online webinar in full (minimum of 50 minutes per hour), attend the QA session, and answer all polling questions. Workers' Compensation Adjusters and Nurse Case Managers are eligible for 1 CE credit for each 1 hour course.
