Medical cost management pioneer honored for significant contributions to the profession

WAYNE, Pa. – Dec. 12, 2016 – Witnessing a company grow from infancy to industry leader is a journey very few experience. Those who do are often pivotal players in the company's success. Their contributions help blaze the trail for the new business and guide it toward future growth.

And as Genex Services grew from a business concept to one of the leading medical cost management firms in the industry, Delphia Frisch was a driving force. Rising from the ranks of management to senior management to executive, Frisch became an integral part of the Genex success story. Today, Frisch serves as COO and Executive Vice President, where she oversees the four primary business units of Genex. For her significant achievements, Frisch has been formally recognized as one of the industry's most successful executives by being named to Business Insurance's Women to Watch 2016.

Business Insurance, a leading news source for insurance professionals, launched the Women to Watch awards program in 2006 to recognize female leaders doing outstanding work in risk management and commercial insurance. Readers nominate candidates for Women to Watch, and a panel of Business Insurance editors selected the honorees based on those nominations.

“Delphia has been at the forefront of developing the core foundation of Genex's services across its history,” said Tim Howard, Senior Vice President of Case Management. “Many of the cost-containment concepts Delphia introduced at Genex have become well recognized within the company, stood the test of time and, ultimately, been adopted by customers and industry competitors.”

“That said, Delphia has never been one to rest on past achievements and she continues to pioneer new ideas and products for the industry,” stated Cathy Glade, Senior Vice President of Utilization Management.

In her current role, Frisch works closely with management and customers in assuring the successful delivery of the company's services. In her career at Genex, Frisch was among the first women to attain senior leadership in the company and has served as a mentor to others who have followed her. Many individuals who have risen through the ranks are enjoying long careers at Genex because of their development under Frisch's management.

Frisch and her fellow honorees will be recognized at the 2016 Women to Watch leadership conference and gala awards luncheon Dec. 12-13 in New York. She will also be profiled in the December edition of Business Insurance (www.businessinsurance.com).
